The Bellingham Turner family are the proud owners of this beautiful wine estate, whose reputation for producing exceptional Chardonnay and Pinot Noir is being firmly established by winemaker, Gavin Patterson.The most spectacular sea vistas dominate the view from the upper deck of the Sumaridge Wine cellar, clearly illustrating this premium boutique producer’s proximity to the Atlantic ocean and a unique defining element in the creation of their awardwinning wines.
The beautifully appointed tasting room makes the best of the views and gives the visitor the option of seeing the winemaker at work through glass windows overlooking the cellar. Spend a lazy day tasting, taking in the view and soaking up the sun alongside the tranquil dam. Light and delicious platters are served at lunchtime – a selection of cheeses, cold meats, smoked seafood or garden fresh crudités are available with a picnic-style hamper that can be enjoyed at a table inside or out or on the lawns under the trees.
