Lying just 8 kms from the sea, in the valley of the Uilenkraal River near Gansbaai, Lomond is located at a most southerly latitude, - 34° 34' south and lies west of Cape Agulhas - the southern most tip of Africa. This extreme southerly location, proximity to the sea and varied soils with unique terroir, contribute to some very distinctive single-vineyard, as well as other wines that amply reflect their origins.
