LANDS END

The Hidden Valley Vineyards’ Lands End range is one of the Elim pioneers whose vineyards grow on the minerally rich soil of the southern most reaches of the continent. Only 17 km from the sea but a full 200 km away from the cellar, this desolate area is continuously buffeted by salt-laden winds off the confluence of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. The resulting wines reflect this austere landscape with deep rich flavours and hints of minerality, reminding one of their unique origins. Lands End wines are made in the most noninterventionist manner. All the grapes are harvested
after careful consideration of ripeness and attributes required to fulfill the Hidden Valley style. The grapes are transported to the Hidden Valley cellar for vinification.
