FARAWAY HOUSE
Faraway House produces approximately 20,000 bottles of top quality wines from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz and Pinotage. Our wines, High Overberg Classic, High Overberg Shiraz and High Overberg Quadrille are made from fruit handpicked at optimum ripeness and kept cool before pressing so maintaining the most delicate and subtle flavours.
All aspects of winemaking from picking to bottling take place on the estate. In 2010 we will pick our first crop of white grapes, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, grown at an altitude above 470 metres. We anticipate superb flavours.
We aim to extend our range in years to come.
