Barton nestles in the Kogelberg National Eco Park, encompassing 40 hectares of vines, lavender fields, olive groves, a nursery and four luxury holiday villas.
Anél and Lerié welcome you to the tasting room and to view the cellar. PJ Geyer is the winemaker and viticulturist whose experience includes seven harvests at Chateau Moulin du Cadet and Chateau Fonroque,
two Grands Crus Classes estates from St Emilion.
Conservation is a priority at Barton and the threatened Blue Crane is the farm’s logo. There are two families of Blue Cranes breeding on the farm and a contribution is made to The Overberg Blue Crane Group for every
bottle of Barton wine sold.
