This lovely Mediterranean style restaurant is in the Main road of the quaint and rural village of Napier. Once a rundown and dilapidated property, owners Renee and Jean Daneel rejuvenated the building with both an Overberg and French flair. The entrance is a 200 year old gate from Spain which inspired the logo. The restaurant has a stunning verandah outlined with lavender, and a cosy fire place inside for cold winter days. The menu changes according to season, but your favourite dishes stay on accordingly. For breakfast try the delicious corn and cheese fritters with bacon and tomato jam and home baked focaccia with scrambled eggs and bacon. For lunch chickpea rissoles with grilled
vegetable, horseradish with fresh line fish, salmon salad, and herb-oil based pizzas are only a few of the favourites.
Matured Prime Rib Beef steak and marinated calamari salad is a must try! Desserts and cake of the day are also available with Red cuppacino’s and a stunning selection of beverages. At the back of the property the old milking shed and barn has been renovated into a
rustic yet elegant style for the deli, The Larder. Bread is baked daily, and variety of artisan cheeses, homemade sausages, and selection of home baked biscuits and rusks are available.
