RENEESANCE RESTAURANT
Renee and Jean Daneel opened their restaurant 2 years ago in the Main Rd of Napier. It was a dilapidated building and they enjoyed every moment of the restoration. They added a 200 year old gate as entrance to the restaurant. The shed at the back has been restored as well for the Jean Daneel tasting room and a deli that specializes in bread and cheese. The restaurant itself serves Mediterranean style foods using the freshest of ingredients. The concept of the restaurant is a small menu that changes regularly. Favourites include the salmon salad, roasted beetroot with rocket aiioli, chickpeas with grilled veg, roasted veg lasagna, sirloin with garlic infused mash and seasonal fruit tartlet with crème patisserie.
