data/Madré’s Kitchen is nestled on Robert Stanford Estate on the foothills of Kleinrivier mountain situated close to pictures’ Stanford. A relaxing, beautiful country setting offers, views of mountain, vineyards and wide open space. Madré’s passion for home cooked meals using seasonal, free range and low food mile ingredients makes this restaurant a special experience. Traditional baking is done in “die bakoond” in the gardens using stone ground flour.
The menu includes from leisurely farm breakfasts to traditional and healthy seasonal dishes, wheat free are also catered for. A selection of home made tarts, jams, olives, bread, farm produce and handmade gifts are for sale in the deli shop.
