The De Hoop Collection has a restaurant at The Opstal Area which is available to both overnight and day visitors. With a shaded terrace overlooking the De Hoop Nature Reserve, the Fig Tree Restaurant offers a full a la carte menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Fig Tree Restaurant prides itself on sourcing products from local suppliers and on changing the menu according to what is in season – this ensures that all dishes benefit from the freshest ingredients. All Elim regional wines are stocked.
The Whale Watch Café will be open in season and will cater specifically for the summer beach visitors. Picnics are also available from the restaurant with prior warning. There cannot be a better way to watch the sunset than from a sand dune, overlooking the sea and sipping wine from a bottle made only kilometres from that same ocean!
